Settings from the receiver include (for both TV1 and TV2):

• Timers: Timers list, minutes early and l • ate, hide/show skipped.

• Parental Controls: ratings locks, channel locks, PPV lock status, Hide Adult, Hide Locked, Front Panel Lock.

• Preferences: Guide display, Channel Order, and selection popup; Favorites lists; Audio Language; nightly update time;

user mode, Record Plus, Shared View; Inactivity Standby; Mode Reminder.

• Closed Captioning: on/off, font and font size, colors, edge style, service, opacity.

• Additional Settings: Caller ID; phone system prex digits and dial type; Modulator mode and channel, Ch. 3-4

modulator channel; TV Enhancements; Dolby setup and mode;

• HDTV setup: analog type, TV type, and aspect ratio; DVR sort order.

Replacement Remote

The Replacement Remote option is used when a replacement remote control is brought into the home. The receiver

currently in the home can restore the remote’s device codes, name, and address settings, to make installations easier.

The receiver must have already stored the original remote’s backup information prior to being used to update the

replacement remote control (see Settings Backup).
